Who we are and what we do
The Ferranti Law Firm is a small Italian law firm, founded in 2004 by Ione Ferranti. In a nutshell, if you need to protect yourself, we guarantee you the best defence, including experience that is both low cost and of high-quality.
We are developing an “eLawyering” dimension to our practice. The Internet is changing the way legal services are delivered to Clients. “ELawyering” is a term coined in U.S.A. which denotes doing legal work over the Web to save time and money. In other words, we have found a new way to communicate with Clients at a distance through a secure log-in portal, an interactive platform of this web site that involves Clients in different way with the actual legal work of the Ferranti Law Firm. Our Clients’ confidentiality is essential anyhow.
The Firm faces the challenging trends in the legal marketplace as follows:
- a free first consultation (also by email or by phone). Your first meeting is confidential and explicative of the potential, future defence and our fees;
- a Spartan physical law office, reducing costs without sacrificing high standard of services and professionalism;
- a virtual law office allows us and our Client to communicate securely over the Internet, download or upload documents through a secure space of this website (a Customer Area where our Client can log in with a unique user name and password);
- eLawyering and elimination of the need to go to the Lawyer’s office;
- increasing the transparency of the transaction between Client and Lawyer, including different type of billing, estimates of costs and fees etc.;
- different types of legal services, from bespoke services (a legal work provided in a highly-personalised manner) to ‘routine’ services (standardized facilities on fixed-fee basis), from traditional legal services to online legal services, unbundled services, according to circumstances;
- perfect knowledge of English language and of another foreign language.
The range of our action crosses the Italian boundaries and reaches into foreign countries, as far as possible, according to the Client’s legal needs.
